About

I am a father, husband, brother, and son. I live in Sydney. I love spending time in the ocean either surfing, fishing, or swimming. I am a big fan of being outdoors on a tractor, motorbike, or steering a pair of shoes through a bush walk.  I grew up in Queensland, kept my teachers at Currumbin State School and Palm Beach Currumbin High School on their toes before studying hard to just get a pass at Griffith University when I undertook my Bachelor of Education. My wife and my kids are my priority, my dog too. I was a Primary school teacher for 12 years, high school for a few too, my passion turned to conversations around men and women discovering their full potential and the power of an honest yarn. I absolutely love the work I do and get a huge stoke out of humans getting honest.

“Thank you, Tommy for bringing your ‘Who Da Man’ workshop to Canterbury Boys High School this week. Your openness and connection with the boys created a space for some incredible learning. I was especially touched at the end to see each of the boys honour someone in the group. This was a huge step for many of the boys and it was a privilege to watch”
Kyle Thurkett, Program Counsellor and Facilitator of Youth Frontier programme, Canterbury Boys High School
